Due to emissions and noise control regulations, secondary throttle valves have appeared in motorcycles within the last decade. This secondary throttle is controlled by the motorcycle's ECU. For maximum performance and crisp throttle response, this secondary system is removed, primarily in road racing competitions. However, as soon as you disconnect the subthrottle actuator motor from the bike's main harness, the FI light will come on on the instrument cluster, as the ECU detects the problem with the actuator. The STV Eliminator connects directly to the main harness, acting as if it were the actuator. With the help of this small unit, you can remove the entire secondary valve assembly with the actuator motor, throttle plates and the rod / shaft itself. Note: It is recommended to have your engine's AFR (air-fuel ratio) checked by a test center. An adjustment may be necessary. This product is intended for racing use only!
